Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Destinations & Methods

  • We ship to mainland UK.

  • Available methods:

    • Standard shipping (usually 2-4 working days)

    • Express shipping (usually 1 working day)

You may select your preferred method at checkout, where live shipping rates will be calculated based on weight, destination, and delivery speed.

2. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding public holidays).

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

3. Estimated Delivery Timeframes

 

Standard:

  • Processing 1-2 days

  • Delivery time 2-4 working days

  • Estimated arrival 3-6 days total

Express:​

  • Processing 1-2 days

  • Delivery time 1 working day

  • Estimated arrival 1-3 days

Exact delivery dates are provided at checkout and confirmed in your order confirmation email alongside a tracking number.

4. Shipping Costs

  • Standard shipping: Free on all orders

  • Express shipping: £2 on orders below £14

  • Note: Orders over 2 kg or with special handling requirements may incur additional charges, which will be displayed at checkout.

5. Tracking & Notifications

  • A tracking number will be emailed upon dispatch.

  • You can track your order via the courier’s website.

  • We may send notifications:

    • When your order is dispatched

    • If any delay occurs

    • Upon delivery completion

6. Delivery Failures & Redelivery

If a delivery attempt fails, the courier will re-attempt according to their policy. If repeated efforts fail:

  • You may choose to have the order returned to us, or

  • Redirected to an alternate UK address (if permitted by the courier).

You will be responsible for additional shipping fees.

7. Lost or Damaged During Transit

  • If your order is lost after dispatch:

    • Standard deliveries: Not received within 14 working days of dispatch? Contact us for a resend or refund, including shipping costs.

    • Express deliveries: Not arrived within 4 working days? Contact us for a resend or refund, including shipping costs.

  • If your package arrives damaged, please retain all packaging and send a photo of the damage to support@bfordcompany.com within 14 calendar days of delivery. We will offer either a replacement or issue a refund (incl. full shipping cost).

8. Customs & Import Fees

If you arrange shipment outside the UK (e.g., to UK territories or internationally via third-party couriers), any customs, taxes, or duties are your responsibility.

9. Cancellations Before Dispatch

Orders can be cancelled free of charge if:

  • The request is received before your order is dispatched.

  • Once dispatched, the Refunds & Returns Policy applies.

10. Special & Bespoke Orders

  • Items marked as "Made to Order" or "Custom / Special Edition" may take longer to produce and dispatch. Typical lead times are specified on the product page.

  • These items are non-refundable unless faulty. Please review such product descriptions carefully prior to purchase.
